Description
Who it’s for
LifeSpan makes the TX6, the heavy-duty pad in our walking pad guide, and it sells a standing desk too. The desk goes from 63.5 to 132cm on three-stage legs, which makes it one of the few desks sold to Ireland that suits very tall people, short people and anyone who wants to add a walking pad underneath.
It’s sold through Decathlon’s Irish website by LifeSpan’s European company in the Netherlands, so there are no import charges. It costs €799.

What’s good about it
The height range is the reason to buy it. At 132cm, only the Oakywood Touch goes as high among the desks we recommend, and the bottom of 63.5cm suits people down to about 165cm tall. If two people of different heights share the desk, this covers both.
It also goes high enough for a walking pad. By our walking pad guide’s figures, a 180cm person on an 11.7cm pad needs the desk at about 126cm, and someone 185cm tall needs 129cm. Most budget desks stop well short of that.
It has two motors, which LifeSpan says give smooth, even movement, and four memory presets.
It ships from inside the EU. LifeSpan sends it from the Netherlands, so you pay what the listing says, with no customs charge or handling fee on top. Delivery to Ireland was quoted at about five days when we checked.
Where it falls short
The price. The Viking Realspace also has two motors and reaches 130cm for €392.37 delivered, less than half the price, though it doesn’t go below 65cm.
The top is 122cm wide. That’s enough for one big monitor or two small ones, but tight for two 27-inch screens. The 76cm depth is good. Our sizes guide explains the widths.
The listing doesn’t give a warranty or say what the top is made of. Ask LifeSpan through Decathlon before you order if either matters to you.
It weighs 48kg, so plan on two people for assembly.
And the listing had no reviews on Decathlon’s Irish site when we checked.
Our verdict
Buy it if you need a desk that goes past 130cm, especially to use with a walking pad, and you’d rather buy from a seller inside the EU. If you only need to reach 130cm, the Viking Realspace does it for less than half the price.
